On Kindness: Amy Krouse Rosenthal

Global Kindness

From Lori’s desk…

Kindness. It’s a simple concept that all too often is lost amidst our bustling lives. We all like to think of ourselves as being kind, but how often do we really go out of our way to show kindness that truly makes a difference to another soul?

Did you turn off your cell phone for just a few minutes to talk, face to face with your son or daughter? Or maybe hold the door open for that lady with too many groceries in one arm and a screaming toddler in the other? Have you looked in the mirror and said to yourself “Wow! You really kicked it today!” or “It’s been a tough week but, hey, it’s gonna get better.”

In this short video from ThoughtBubble.org, children’s book author Amy Krouse Rosenthal proposes that kindness may be just what the doctor ordered to change your life, improve your family, community, and even society as a whole. Be kind to YOU – take a few minutes to treat yourself to this sweet, thought provoking little gem of a video.
